"IL VETRO A LUME" by Cesare Toffolo & Mr Sandro Zecchin, published in 2018

I invite you to get the first two volumes of the book "Il verto a lume" written by my respected Italian colleague M.Cesare Toffolo and by Mr Sandro Secchin.

These three impressive books capture in great detail much of the history of flameworking from the 18th century to the present day.

Into the second volume Mr Toffolo greets the work of some europeans flamerworkers who have marked their time by describing it and illustrating their work with beautiful photos.

I'm honored to be a part of them and I would like to thank again sincerely Mr. Toffolo and Mr. Zecchin for the work they have done in order to save and transmit a big part of the european flameworking history to the general public as well as to the future generations of flameworkers.

The work done by our Association of french flameworkers, the A.V.C.F, is also greeted by Mr. Toffolo which is touching me very deeply.

The two first  volumes of the book are available via amazon, you can also order them by contacting Mr. Toffolo directly via his email: info@toffolo.com

INTERVIEW RÉALISÉE PAR Mme ISABELLE RICARD A L'OCCASION  DU 1er "MEET UP, COULEURS EN SCÈNE" en 2018
Quartier Bonne nouvelle
6 rue Thorel Paris
:

GLASSROOTS : ARTIST OF THE WEEK 15th February 2017

An interview that I had the pleasure to realize for the GlassRoots Glass School in the United States in 2017. This school allows children and young adults from underprivileged backgrounds to learn among the different areas of glass work.

Giving to them the opportunity to learn glassblowing is like giving to them the possiblity to create pure gold at the infinite, i'm admirative and grateful in front the work realized by this organization since all these years and hope that a similar initiative will born in Europe in Future.

Through this section "Artist of the week", their educational team allows students to discover the work of different artists on the international scene. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity for their students for learning from the journey of differents glass artists. Being inspired is also necessary to can be able to create, I love to describe this as the infinite breath of creation.

I had the great honor to be solicited by their team and I am pleased to have contributed to this noble cause. I hope you will enjoy read this interview !
